Technician for a Franchised Dealership in Burton On Trent

we’re looking primarily for a Prep & Service technician who’ll be based at our Van centre just a mile down the road. This tech, once employed, will be expected to complete all the relevant PBV tech training paid for by us with a mixture of computer based and physical training at the academy.

• 40 hours per week
• Up to £33,000 per year (experience & qualification dependant)
• 1 in 3 Saturdays pro rata (paid at time & a half)
• Achievable bonus structure
• OTE on average £7.5k inc overtime (top earner averaging £9.5k)

Our client, a franchised motor dealership family owned group is seeking an experienced Technician, (mechanic). 

Level 2 and 3 essential 

Electric experience would be a benefit, full manufacture training will be given to all applicants.

Although it would be an advantage, dealership experience not necessary.

As well as technical competence in the mechanics of a vehicle, you should have a good working knowledge of the electrical and electronic components of a vehicle and be comfortable with using the latest equipment to identify and rectify faults.

You must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Mechanics, have a positive, 'can do' attitude, and willingness to work as part of an effective team. A VOSA MOT Smartcard would be a distinct advantage in this role but not essential.

You should be a good team player and communicator to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop, ensuring you liaise with other team members to meet and exceed customer expectations.
