Experienced General Sales Manager – Multi Brand Site – Leicestershire

Our client, a multi-franchised Dealers Group well respected major car brand motor dealership group is looking for its next General Sales Manager to lead the successful sales department of their dealership in Leicestershirte.

The preferred candidate will already have experience in a similar role as they will be expected to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, professional environment. You will actively manage a team of salespeople whilst simultaneously delivering exceptional levels of customer service, achieving sales targets and delivering budgets.

We’re now seeking a driven and experienced General Sales Manager to lead multiple Franchises in our Leicestershire dealership. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership and drive of a high-performing team, driving results, and shaping the future of one of our key garages.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading, motivating, and developing the Sales Executive teams to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Driving new and used car sales performance, including F&I penetration, accessory sales, and retention KPIs
  • Managing stock, forecasts, and departmental budgets effectively
  • Delivering an exceptional customer journey that reflects both our brands and Sandicliffe standards
  • Ensuring compliance with FCA and company policies across all sales activity
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to support career development and succession planning
  • Working closely with senior management to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a General Sales Manager role within the motor trade
  • Proven multi-brand management experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and influence a team
  • Excellent commercial awareness and the drive to exceed targets
  • A customer-focused approach with a track record of delivering first-class service
  • FCA accreditation and a solid understanding of compliance
  • Organised, resilient, and able to perform in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Full UK driving licence
