Jobseekers told to call their depression ‘low mood’ on applications.

There is obviously still a stigma around depression, but I imagine that all of us know someone that has suffered from depression at some point. 20 years ago I think people were very quick to judge others negatively if they said they suffered from depression, but the younger generation seems much more informed on the subject, and it may become more acceptable as time goes on.

I do agree with the advice not to put it on a CV though, as after all, a CV should be written to get an interview, but it does seem a little strange for a government agency to be giving that advice.
